Fz6 not shifting!!
 

I am having a serious issue with the bike, only 4700 miles on my 06..seem to be having shifting issues. In low rpms 5-6xxx bike shifts fine all the time. If I stretch out a gear and try to shift say at 7-9xxx when I shift there is nothing there, shifter goes up but will not engage . Feels like trying to shift past 6th gear. If I let off throttle and rpms go down it will pop right into gear. Chain is adjusted, clutch lever is just right, oil is good. I am at a loss. Searched everywhere to get any information and coming up with nothing. No problems shifting at all ever if I ride conservative but if I try n show some muscle it wont go into the next gear..please let somebody have some info on this!!!!!

I have an 09...just bought it...With 48 miles on it. Now maybe it's just me but I've had some shifting problems as well. Particularly when down shifting. It's still new, so may it needs broken in. I'll keep in touch and as far as your issue goes, try dry shifting (without the clutch) or try rev matching between shifts...
