winterrider I had the exact issue. Battery is worn out. Maintainers simply aren't any good if the battery is a low quality one. I see this is from 2021. I hope I don't have to wait a year to get an answer on the thread I just posted...

Engine wont start, and clicking sound ...
Hello,

Right before I'm heading to inspection, My 06 Fz6 just wouldn't start. it has Err 12 and clicking sound from the seat side panel, so far I replaced the Starter Solenoid Relay and another replay under the side panel, but still not working. battery is always connect to maintainer and the bike is always in garage.

Any suggestion?
