Opinion on RIM/Wheel Damage

Greetings everyone. I have a (new to me) 2009 FZ6. I was wondering what you guys thought of this rim/wheel damage on the rear wheel.

Would you consider this something that can be left as is, fixed, or does the wheel need replacing?

Thanks for your help.

if it balances out, and rides smooth... you could be ok riding on it... but I'd replace it asap..keep an eye out on Ebay, or other sources you may have for used parts...
