Hey guys, first-timer here (yeah I know, one of THEM) but I promise to be an active member.

Kind of a 'hello', more of a 'help me' situation.

So a few months ago I was riding home and all of a sudden steam billows up and it's intense. Peak hour traffic so I have to push on a bit for somewhere safe to pull up (with many a honking concerned driver trying to warn I didn't notice the plumes of smoke billowing up from my underneath into my face). By the time I get to a safe spot, my temp is up bad. So I find a bigger-than-pin-hole leak straight on to right-side exhaust pipe, and the last of the coolant pissing out to empty.

Being only 5k from home, I kick back and let her cool down before babying her home with nil coolant, a few bars off max temp.

I added a bit of water to the rad to illustrate the leak point. This is stone cold, no start for months. Imagine what it was like under pressure!

I can't find the part number for the three-inlet metal joiner thing I need to replace. Anyone know it?

Then I got youtubing JB Weld and now I'm thinking that could do it.

The plan was to JB Weld it now (it's winter here in Oz so I'm gagging to ride) and source the part. Unless I can get the part fast. A call to my local Yamaha dealer needs a separate post, so I'm asking you guys.

This happened to anyone else? Appreciate the help.

Edit: Sorry - 2006 FZ6S
