Won’t star, low idle, bogging down, stalling.

I have watched every video, and looked at every thread related, nothing describes quite like what’s happening to my bike. I have a 2007 Yamaha FZ6 with 30,000 miles. I’ve never had a problem with this bike, until yesterday. I started it up, started fine. Let it warm up. I got about a mile down the road and realized it was kind of sputtering. When I bought the bike the previous owner says it has a bit of sputter when it’s cold started but I’ve never had that happen. So I pulled over to let it warm up a bit more. It was at about 160 degrees Fahrenheit. When I was stopped I seen that it was idling way too low. It was below one thousand. Usually it’s about one thousand. So I decided to head back and on my way back it was sputter not stop and I couldn’t get it to stop sputtering, unless I was really high in the RMP. When I got back home it was at around 180 degrees but the problem still persisted. When I got back to my house I read online that there is an idle adjuster screw on the left hand side of the bike, I turned that clockwise to tighten it and bring the RPMS up and then it wouldn’t start. I couldn’t get it to start after that so I turned that screw as much as I possibly could, and now it will start but idle low and bog down and stall within second. I’m thinking maybe it could be fuel related? Thanks for reading, anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be?

Similar thing happened to me about 3 years ago and not since. I checked and cleaned all spark plugs (C*nt of a job, don't do it unless absolutely necessary), replaced air filter, did a hard-reset (disconnected battery for 1hr)…no effect.

Turns out it was shitty fuel and an unhappy injector.

Try adding a half bottle of the most expensive injector cleaner you can find and filling with 98 fuel and running at high and low revs for a good couple-hour ride. Add the rest at your next fill of 98 fuel and give it a good revving. It has an ECU so I thought no need to adjust?

Anyway, I'm sure as hell you have a fuel issue here so give the above a try before expelling too much effort like I did. Let me know how you go.
