throttle stuck open

hey guys sorry not been on for awhile trying to sort out bike. i have problem when i use throttle and pull back it stays at high revs and the throttle wont go back it stays open what can i do any ideas welcome thanks rob

What year is your bike. 2004 & 2005 FZ's have a recall on Throttle Position Sensor. Sounds like that might be your prob. or bad cable

hey fz rowe thank u its a 1987 buddy i had the tank off to replace with a more modern one of an r6 so i thought i might of caught a cable , i checked but the cable isnt snagged or broke but its dead loose, like slack got no idea wat it is just think its in need of renewing now .just dont no how to replace one, the carbs are dead stiff aswell maybe some wd4o might loosen them
