Power Commander?

I was wondering what the forum's thoughts would be on adding a Power Commander to my 2007 FZ6? I've had her about a year, runs great, etc. It came with, and currently has, a Leo Vince SBK exhaust (prev. owner said not a full system, but everything from the Cat back). He also said when he went to get it tuned, they barely had to make any adjustments. So as far as I know, it's tuned where it's supposed to be. I did put in a K&N filter which seemingly made it run a little stronger though.

I also run OS X, not Windows so that's something I have to consider too when it comes to connecting and to the PwrCmd.

One last question - Are there any performance mods you all would do BEFORE adding the PwrCmd?

Thanks in advance for any and all responses. Sorry two of the pics are sideways. They were normal when I uploaded them and I'm done trying to figure out how to rotate them.

No need for a Power Commander unless you're changing fueling maps, which is necessary if you have a full exhaust system as that changes the air to fuel ratio. Cat back systems don't do this (or at least not enough to warrant changing the fuel maps), and if the previous owner already had it tuned, you're sweet. K&N doesn't make a large enough difference to warrant re tuning it either imo.

Why do you want performance upgrades? The bike can already outride any speed limit lol. My suggestions would be don't mess with the power commander, improve the front end suspension with emulators or something; changing your gearing for more low end power for more fun off the line, that kind of thing.

Be smooth, then be fast.
