Cheap Temporary mirror fix for fairing mirror mounts (FZ600 shown)

Got a cheap handle bar mirror cause my bike came with none (I've got the originals on order). However, I couldn't find a single spot on the front of the bike to mount it properly, so I did this:

Just drilled a hole through the bottom plastic piece and turned the bolt all the way through. Then installed the 3 small screws, tightened down the nut on the mounting bolt. Then adjust mirror, tighten down the small screws, and done. (I was able to fit a box end wrench on the bolt head while tightening the nut).

Looks good enough for me. It's just a quick fix anyway. I wouldn't have even drilled. Double sided tape woulda done the job until the actual mirrors came in. LOL.

good to see an old FZ600

it's awsome that you're keeping that older model FZ600 in use ! I too, have one of those I'm about to have back on the road. They make great vintage roadrace bikes for their class too. Many folks would be surprised how affordable it would be to get out on a roadcourse ! FZ600s run in a class with EX500s,GSX400s,CB400Fs,XS650s, etc. WERA Vintage rocks !
I'll get some pics up of mine, asap...
