Hi all. I've recently notice a drop or two of coolant toward the top of my back tire after a ride, but can't see any obvious source above it. Anybody else run into this or have any insight? Thought I'd check before I start a dissection!

Coolant just sitting on the top of the rear tire after sitting after a ride?

Hmm. Are you sure it's coolant? That is truly odd.

Yup, that very distinctive glowing green. Very odd indeed. I'll have it out for a longer ride this weekend, then I can see if it resurfaces. If not, I'll chalk it up to a one-off oddity.

Did you double check all of the coolant hoses and clamps? Check the coolant level? Just generally look all over for any place coolant could be leaking?

There really isn't any place for it to be directly leaking to the back tire, so it has to be making its way up under something and then dripping once you stop.

No evidence elsewhere at all? Nothing on the ground?

Nothing, no. That's what had me so stumped. I'd expect to see a somewhat obvious origin. Coolant level looked fine, not too full. I've really only done a somewhat superficial inspection at this point so perhaps I'll dig a little deeper this weekend. Just such a strange place to find drips!
