My NIK is BillyBollox and my name is Stuart I live in Blackpool Lancashire UK and Have just purchased a 07 FZ6 S2 Fazer in deep dark red with 340 Miles on the clock this will be my first bike since the 1980's because I had a nasty spill and lost my hip and also have problems with my spine but i feel the need to return to two wheels. I am taking a full DAS course and hope to be back on the road within the next month or so, Wish me luck !

All the best BillyBollox

Greetings,

I must say I have only broken my collar bone in my riding days on my dirt bike. Never been down on the street. Sounds like you had a bad one.....good luck....think positive!!!

Is it safe to assume your FZ is the Euro model without the mini-fairing like the one's we have here in the States? I like my FZ but wish aftermarket exhaust systems weren't so damn expensive.

Stay well and good luck Mr Bill

Hi Vaughn
Thanks for the positive wishes, I finished my riding course and Passed my full UK licence on Tues 12th Aug and am over the moon to be back on the road.
My FZ6 is the half fairing model and not the naked model in lava red.
I see your point about decent after market exhausts for these bikes lol over here you can't buy one new for much less than £500 sterling and that equates to roughly $950 US.
Stay Safe Buddy BillyBollox

yes, inner strength, and wisdom gained is given from higher power ! I believe in Christ, our Lord. He gives me strength, hope ,and ability to go on ! I have issues with my back and neck as well, and am grateful to be able to ride at all ... or race. I do both, and sometimes wonder why. My excuse is that it keeps me in shape , but I don't do any of it enough to actually be effective. I'm trying. We do save on fuel expenses , by riding our motos ! Good luck, with everything , and know Christ... you won't go wrong in the end. Alot of folks feel we are getting nearer to the end, but no one knows...Scouts say:Be prepared. Sounds good to me, I'm ready to be done with this mess we are all in ! God bless u ! Ride safely !
