Let's start with the "against".

A lot of this may have to do with there are some people in every business, AMSOIL Included, that are bad apples. In the case of Forums, they do a "Hit and Run" trying to get people to buy. Usually this is a new Dealer.

Personally, I have been an AMSOIL Dealer for over 25 years and this is now my Full-Time Business. I don't "Hit and Run" and don't get shaken by people who have something against AMSOIL or Dealers.

You will rarely find anyone who has used AMSOIL to have anything bad to say about it.. If they do, they probably used the wrong product or put it into something that was a Rat.

Now, the Good:

AMSOIL is the First API Rated Synthetic Motor Oil , "1972" and continues to develop products and make the one's they have better.

You can look in the g-2156 link in our Sig and see the results. These tests were performed by several of the Top Independent Testing Facilities in the US. ASTM tests are used as they can be duplicated accurately by anyone that follows the outlined test procedure.

As for Filters, the AMSOIL Filter is the best money can buy. They utilize Patented Nano-Fiber Media and are conservatively rated at 15 Micron Absolute..

Amsoil has always had excellent contingency programs for club racing. That makes them okay in my book.
