I am looking at purchasing 2006 FZ6 with 24,000 miles, $4,200 OBO
more details below.

What engine or drive train problems lie ahead?
How many miles will these engines go?
How much should I plan on spending in the 1st year?

One owner Candy Red, Fuel injected inline 4 cylinder
ONE ADULT OWNER, GARAGE KEPT, NEVER DROPPED, ALL HIGHWAY SPEED LIMIT MILES
Considered Excellent Condition
24,xxx miles gentle miles, never red lined, rarely over 7-8k rpms.
55-57 mpg's highway.
oil & filter changed every 3k miles, plugs changed, air filter changed 2009.
Approx. 300 miles on newer Bridgestone Battleaxe BT021 tires.
Frame sliders, yamaha touring windscreen w/ extension & stock short windscreen, nelson rigg saddle bags.
Negotiable price, title in hand.
Pics show both stock and as I used touring (with tall windscreen and saddle bags)

No known problems. Very bulletproof motor
As many as you ask them to with proper maint. and care
as much as you can afford, mods come quick and most don't come cheap!

What is the life expectancy of the motor / bike. IE what is a high mileage bike?

high milage is possible means no high pick up is possible.because milage reduces the pick up of the bike.
